The Family at Accu-Tax

We have been a family owned and Vancouver operated business since 1989. Gail Bevard, our mother, started Accu-Tax Services on Mill Plain after working for others as a tax preparer. A stickler for numbers, budgeting and forecasting…. she was a natural. She knew it was time to invest in herself and her clients. Giving her the opportunity to serve and open a business that she would be proud to put her name on. Growing her business to support her family and those of her employees gave her great pride. She served her clients with the utmost respect and care. In 1995, Gail added her daughter Maria Keesee to the full-time staff and again in 2001 adding more family with her second daughter, Julia Carlston. Nothing gave Gail more pride than teaching the business to her daughters. It was very fulfilling.

But, as life happens sometimes, things don’t always go as planned. In 2006, Gail became ill and eventually lost her battle with cancer. Maria and Julia knew there was nothing they wanted more than to carry on the legacy started by their mother. To serve clients with respect and understanding, showing them that they were valued for their patronage and service. Since that time our business has continued to grow and in 2011, we expanded to our current location, now able to serve our clients in a business environment that meets our growing needs.

We retain 2 part time employees to process accounting and tax season support as well as Belinda our long time friend who now runs the daily functions of the office, specializing in payroll and customer service. Maria and Julia owners, take pride in serving clients of Washington and Oregon with tax preparation, payroll services and accounting needs. We count the relationship we have with our clients as something to value and respect. Today, an established business to trust, Accu-Tax Services LLC provides a quality service with the integrity of a smaller firm. Our payroll service is of the highest standards. We also offer remote services and Quickbooks support. Annually, we serve about 60 Accounting clients with payroll and income reporting services as well as income tax preparation for individuals and small business reaching over 450 returns. Federal or State, weekly or annually, one employee or 100.... we offer services to meet your needs. Let us do what we do best, which allows you to focus on growing your business. We were taught to treat the information and responsibility we were given by our clients with the utmost care.
